‘Quitting HIV drugs is deadly’

MASERU – If Violet Kolobe’s comments are something to go by, it seems like quitting HIV or Tuberculosis (TB) drugs is just as good as committing suicide by swallowing slow poison – it is a deadly resolution.
Kolobe is a health worker tasked with recovering HIV and TB drug quitters and getting them back on medication. She works for Lesotho Network of AIDS Service Organization (LENASO) – a network that coordinates community HIV and AIDS and Primary Health Care (PHC) services.
