PANAJIWaste Management Minister Michael Lobo on Thursday said the State government would soon commission the biomedical waste treatment plant at Kundaim.
“The project is complete and it will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant,” said Lobo, while speaking to reporters after inspecting trial operations at the plant in the presence of a team of doctors from the India Medical Association (IMA).
He said the biomedical waste treatment plant is located on 10,000 sq mtrs of land and has been equipped with the latest technology.
