In order to reach out to women and children in distress, the state on Friday received its ‘pink force’, an elite women police force of the Goa police constituting of 250 members and equipped with 11 vehicles.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched the ‘pink force’ at a function at Miramar. Sawant said that Goa police’s pink force will reach out to women in distress within 5 minutes.
